Bereavement Support

Grief is a very personal journey.

St Peter’s currently holds regular Bereavement Masses and Holy Hours for those who have died, these will always be well publicized on our website and in our Parish Newsletter. Further information can be obtained from our Parish office.

We have a dedicated team specially trained to assist at funerals on the day to be there for the bereaved family and mourners to make them feel as welcome and supported as possible.

We hope in the near future to establish a team of volunteer bereavement befrienders who can support and provide a friendly and supportive ear to someone who is struggling with their grief.  If you would like a visit, or for more information, please contact the Parish Office in confidence on 01273-733840.
